On Lucy Torres's 44th birthday on December 11, Richard Gomez posted a sweet birthday message on Instagram.
He began, "Happy birthday my love! You truly are a gift from God.
"Many see you as a beautiful and fragile person but most don’t know your inner strength and conviction.
"I love you for making me laugh, for making many of our friends laugh. You are one of the funniest persons I know.
"I love the way you tell me and make us feel how much you love me & Juliana."
Richard went on enumerating some funny things about the congresswoman of Leyte's fourth district.
"I know you can easily get lost [because] of your bad sense of direction and maybe that is one of the reasons why the good Lord made you marry me so that you won’t get lost anymore.
"And so you won’t ride the wrong car [because] all cars look the same to you."
Richard, who has been married to Lucy for 20 years, continues, "I love traveling the three of us. We spend endless hours just talking, eating, laughing and making beautiful memories."
The family has traveled to different parts of the world, including Spain...

... and Switzerland, where Richard and Lucy honeymooned in 1998.
Richard also says, "But I also realize that you and Juliana always laugh at me every time I forget about people's names and who they are and what they do.
"I love my life with you and I pray that we can spend more hundreds of years together in our lifetime..."
The Three Words to Forever actor ended his posts with a series of hashtags, including "you are my one truly sexy wifey" and "ikaw yung isang tsinelas ng buhay ko," and "grabi ha imong lawas day mura jud twenty five years old lang," which translates to "Grabe yung katawan mo, day. Parang 25 years old lang."
Richard, Lucy, and their daughter Juliana are currently in Paris.
