Usap-usapan sa social media ang viral video kung saan mapapanood ang pambubugbog ng isang estudyante sa kapwa niya estudyante mula sa isang kilalang school sa Quezon City.

Pati celebrities na sina Gabbi Garcia, Sharlene San Pedro, Gil Cuerva, David Licauco, Fifth Pagotan, at Anthony Pangilinan ay naghayag ng kanilang saloobin sa bullying incident.

Ang mga sangkot ay natukoy na junior high-school students ng Ateneo de Manila University.

Kahapon, December 20, naglabas ng official statement si Ateneo Junior High School Principal Jose Antonio Salvador, na nagsabing siniseryoso nila ang pagsisiyasat sa insidente.

Kasunod nito ang statement ni Ateneo de Manila University President Jose Ramon Villarin SJ, na sinigurong “we are treating the matter with the highest priority and urgency.”

Sinabi rin niyang hindi sila magdadalawang-isip na i-expel ang estudyanteng nam-bully kung mapatunayan ito.

Magkakahalo naman ang reaksyon ng mga artista hinggil sa isyu.

Pero karamihan sa kanila ay kinukondenda ang insidenteng pambu-bully ng high school student sa kanyang schoolmate.

"Got to see a compilation video of this kid from a private school bullying his schoolmates.

"I feel so sorry for his parents. I just really hope that the school would do something about this.

"This kid needs to learn his lesson the hard way.”

Nagpahayag din ng pagkadismaya ang Kapuso actor na si Gil Cuerva sa bullying incident sangkot ang estudyante ng Ateneo Junior High School.

Ayon kay Gil, nag-aral siya sa naturang paaralan at dismayado siya sa diumano'y pagtatakip ng school officials sa isyu.

"Man, it’s such a shame. I came from that school.

"Really disappointed with the way they’re sweeping this all under the rug. Fr. RB would never"

Malamang na ang tinutukoy ni Gil ay si Fr. RB Hizon ng Society of Jesuits, isang dating principal ng Ateneo High School.

Naghayag siya ng kanyang pag-aalala sa posibleng kalakihan ng estudyanteng inaakusahan ng pambu-bully, sakaling hindi umano maiwasto ang pagkakamaling nagawa nito.

Isa sa mga tweet niya: “Nakakatakot isipin kung anong maaring magawa sa lipunan ng isang BATANG BULLY pag laki niya. Sana maitama. tsk tsk.”

Aniya, nangangailangan din ng tulong ang batang nambugbog ng kanyang schoolmate.

Umapela rin si Anthony na hindi makakatulong ang pagpapakalat ng viral video ng batang nam-bully.
