The highly-acclaimed Broadway musical Wicked will premiere at the Main Theater of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), starting January 22, 2014.
Wicked: The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz, delves into the story of the two-equally important characters of L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz: the Wicked Witch of the South and the Good Witch of the North.
It is about Elphaba, a smart, fiery, and misunderstood girl, who was born with emerald skin; and Glinda, an ambitious, popular, and beautiful lass.
The story takes place long before Dorothy is transported to the magical land of Oz.
