Following the success of the first two Kimmy Dora movies, Eugene Domingo says viewers can expect a different kind of adventure in Kimmy Dora (Ang Kiyemeng Prequel).

Award-winning comedienne Eugene Domingo graces the screen this December in Kimmy Dora (Ang Kiyemeng Prequel), one of the official entries to the 39th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Eugene promises, “Ito ang pinakamaganda!” The movie is the third installment of the Kimmy Dora series.

“Nung una, Kambal sa Kiyeme was an introduction nung pinanganak sila. Tapos yung pangalawa, nag-international na kami sa Korea, comedy-horror naman. Sa napili naming storya ngayon, parang combination nung una at pangalawa, and of course yung comedy nandun pa rin,” adds Eugene.

In Kimmy Dora (Ang Kiyemeng Prequel), twins Kimmy and Dora, both played by Eugene, find themselves in a different kind of adventure. “Meron silang sino-solve na mystery, pero hindi puzzle,” describes Eugene.

Sam Milby plays the twins’ love interest, Rodin Bartoletti, who acts as their shadow as they undergo an internship in their family’s various businesses. In a recent interview, Sam said about his leading lady, “Masarap at malambot yung lips ni Ms. Eugene Domingo.”

According to Eugene, the movie is perfect for audiences aged 7 to 77 – “yun yung market ng Kimmy Dora. Para siyang pa-James Bond at Austin Powers.” To prepare for the role, Eugene had to go through rehearsals and even trained for karate.

When asked if there will be a fourth Kimmy Dora, Eugene says, “This is the third and the last. Di na kaya ng leeg ko, kailangan na niya ng pahinga!”

Playing supporting roles are veteran actors Joel Torre, Ariel Ureta and Angel Aquino. Kimmy Dora (Ang Kiyemeng Prequel) opens in cinemas on December 25.
