Jillian Ward will serve as kiddie correspondent for GMA-7's new kiddie reality search

PRESS STATEMENT FROM GMA-7:

"Beginning this Sunday, June 12, GMA-7 and Promil Pre-School set out to find the country's next big child stars with Promil Pre-School I-Shine Talent Camp TV.


"This weekly kiddie reality search will showcase twelve talented kids chosen from among hundreds of participants who joined the nationwide talent camps. They will be given a unique chance to hone their talents in singing, dancing, acting, modeling, and arts and craft through different fun and engaging workshops.


"At the end of each workshop, the kids will each receive stars based on how well they performed. And by the end of the search, the i-Shiner awarded with the most number of stars will win the grand prize of P200,000, a contract with GMA Artist Center, and the title Promil Pre-School i-Shine Talent Camp TV's Grand Shining Child Star.


Hosts celebrity mom and actress Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski and Kapuso actor and former child star Paolo Contis will be present to monitor and guide the twelve i-Shiners throughout this entire journey. Meanwhile, child wonder Jillian Ward will serve as the show's kiddie correspondent as she recounts the day's activities.

"This one-of-a-kind kiddie search is made even more special with the participation of the mentors as they offer valuable tips not only to the kids, but to their parents as well. Among the mentors who will appear in the show are Jolina Magdangal, Gina Alajar, Mark Herras, Joshua Zamora, Barbie Forteza, Joshua Dionisio, Maita Ponce, Robert Alejandro, Roxanne Barcelo, and Direk Albert Langitan, the director of Promil Pre-School I-Shine Talent Camp TV.


"This is an annual nationwide event that serves as a venue for parents to discover and nurture the talents of their children. This year, we've made it even bigger with this partnership with GMA. Now, these kids have an even bigger to develop and showcase their talents," said Carlo dela Paz, senior product manager for the brand.


"Get to know these pre-schoolers by following their journey starting this Sunday right after Showbiz Central on GMA-7 with a simultaneous telecast on GMA News TV."
