Young actress Iza Calzado might just get her Hollywood break by reprising her role as the battered wife in the Hollywood remake of the horror flick Sigaw.

Iza Calzado will most likely star in theHollywood remake of the local horror flick Sigaw, according to Ruben Nepales of the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Director Yam Laranas's critically acclaimed horror film, which was shown locally in 2004 under Regal Entertainment, will use the title The Echo for its international release.

Iza is being considered to play the battered wife character, Anna—the same role she convincingly portrayed in the original version.

Foreign producers were so impressed with Iza's performance that they immediately thought of calling her over to be included in the cast.

It has already been reported that Hollywood actor Jesse Bradford will play the lead male character role, while British actress Amelia Warner will take on the girlfriend role. These characters were originally portrayed by Richard Gutierrez and Angel Locsin.
