Marian Rivera revealed the new format of her weekly dance show, which will begin its second season.

For its second season, Marian will have a new format and new director.

The first season of the weekly dance show of Marian Rivera will conclude this Saturday, September 13.

It will be the last episode that will directed by Louie Ignacio. He will be replaced by Mark Reyes on its second season, starting on September 20.

Asked what will be the new offering of Marian on its next season, TV host-actress Marian told entertainment reporters, “Actually, ganun pa rin ang tema, may opening number ako, sasayaw pa rin ako ng mga buwis-buhay moves ko.

“Pero ang maganda ngayon, may highlight siya na parang magiging dance showdown ng mga artista. Sila ang maglalaban-laban.”

Apart from the celebrity dance showdown, according to Marian, she will still be interviewing celebrity guests.

“Siyempre, every time na may Marian, mayroon pa rin akong pasabog na opening at may dance step of the week pa rin ako at may interview pa rin ako sa mga guest ko,” she reiterated.

Marian admitted that GMA actually asked her to do a TV series. But she had to decline the offer since she’s busy with her hosting stint on Eat Bulaga and with the preparation for her wedding on December 30.

However, she immediately agreed when asked if she could still do the second season of Marian, “Sabi ko, ‘Why not?’”

Meanwhile, despite tough competition, it seems that Marian will retain its current timeslot.

“Tinanong ko sila [management], ‘Hanggang kailan ba ang Marian?’ Hanggang kaya ko raw,” revealed Marian in the end.
