Charice sings theme song of Final Fantasy XIII-2

The "New World" theme song is the second track of Charice's Infinity album.

According to the Final Fantasy and More blog, the "Yakusoku no Basho/New World" theme song was performed by Mai Fukui in Japanese while the English version was performed by Filipino singer Charice.

Those playing Final Fantasy XIII-2 will soon be able to hear the voice of Charice as they navigate the Japanese role-playing game.

Charice's second track from her Infinity album has been chosen as the theme song of Final Fantasy XIII-2.

Titled "New World," part of the lyrics go: "Baby I'm gonna see the new world / With nothing but the love you gave me." This song was written by Koichi Tabo of Superfly for Charice's Japan exclusive album.

According to the Final Fantasy and More blog, "Yakusoku no Basho, which translates to "Place of Promise", will be available as a single on November 23, 2011. The Limited Edition single will have a code that will unlock a bonus item within the game."

The said entry also points out: "The English version will only be in Japan on the Xbox version."

The "Yasusoku no Basho/New World" theme song was performed by Mai Fukui in Japanese while the English version was performed by Filipino singer Charice.
