Mark Bautista and Cris Villonco will play major roles in the musical adaptation of Bituing Walang Ningning.
Mark and Cris are cast as Nico Escobar and Lavinia Arguelles, respectively. These roles were originally portrayed by
Christopher de Leon and Cherie Gil in the movie.
The lead role of Dorina Pineda,
which was first played by Sharon Cuneta, will be given to a girl yet to be
discovered through nationwide auditions.
