After what was seemingly the most dramatic week in the Pinoy Big Brother house, Pinoy Big Brother UnliDay housemates Mark Luz and Lyn Elimanco were evicted from the industrial house last Saturday (December 10).
Mark exited the house via a forced eviction for using hand signals and whispering, which are grave violations of Big Brother's house rules. These triggered Big Brother to finally kick him out of the house after Mark was automatically nominated for being involved in Reg's forced eviction last week.
It was also revealed that Lyn voluntarily left the PBB house Saturday morning in order to attend her mother's wake in Surigao. She brought with her the P150,000 cash prize her Team Wayuk won in their second Kontra Battle against Team High Voltage.
For the said contest, the two teams had to portray Biblical characters and depict a human Belen or nativity scene. They had to remain very still in their position (whether standing or kneeling) for 10 hours. They were given brief rest periods every hour and every movement outside the said grace period would count as a mistake. Team Wayuk won with 34 mistakes over Team High Voltage's 39 mistake.
Filipino netizens turned to Twitter to tweet their remarks about the emotion-filled eviction night, prompting the hashtag "#PBBUnlimited," and "Bye Mark," "Lyn," and "Team Wayuk" to trend on Twitter Philippines.
Meanwhile, the last batch of nominees for this year was revealed in last night's (December 11) eviction night. Erica Arlante, Paco Evangelista, and Luz McClinton were named as the nominees of PBB UnliDay, while Tol Chua, Deniesse Joaquin, Wendy Tabusalla, and Seth Cox are in danger of getting evicted from the PBB UnliNight house.
It's also the viewers' final chance to "vote to evict" the housemates they want to eject from the industrial house and mansion. The program will be ditching the said system in 2012 and will only recognize "vote to save" votes next year.
