Directed by internationally acclaimed Filipino director Brillante Mendoza, Taklub revolves around a mother dealing with grief (played by Superstar Nora Aunor).

Taklub is Brillante's entry to the Un Certain Regard section of the 68th Cannes Film Festival. It was one of three films that received a special commendation from the Cannes Ecumenical Jury.
Unfortunately, Nora was unable to attend the special screening held last night, June 1, at SM Aura.
