Will the much-awaited first onscreen kiss of Kathniel finally happen?
In the latest teaser of their teleserye Pangako Sa’Yo, it showed a recap of the first encounter of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla’s characters Yna and Angelo.
It also showed how Angelo first expressed his love for Yna and how he asked her mother (Amy Austria-Ventura) if he can court her.
Towards the end of the teaser, the two had a dinner date. It seemed like Yna is finally giving Angelo her ‘yes’ when she told her (via voice-over) “Mahal na mahal kita, Angelo.”
Angelo then answered, “Mahal na mahal din kita, Yna.”
The teaser ended after the two held hands, and moved their faces closer, as if they are about to kiss.
In Pangako Sa 'Yo, Angelo has already expressed his feelings for Yna. However, Angelo’s mom, Madam Claudia (Angelica Panganiban), disapproves of this.
Last August 19, Wednesday, Pangako Sa’Yo posted a new all-time high rating of 39.7% nationwide according to Kantar-TNS.
This was the episode that featured the first meet-up of Yna with her biological mother Amor Powers (Jodi Sta. Maria).
Pangako Sa’Yo airs weeknights after Nathaniel. It is directed by Rory Quintos, Dado Lumibao, and Richard Arellano.
