Carmi Martin works outside of ABS-CBN for the first time in four years.
The 57-year-old actress will be part of the upcoming series Love You Stranger, which will be aired on GMA-7’s sister channel, Gtv. The show is produced by GMA Public Affairs.
Love You Stranger is top-billed by Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos.
Carmi posted a photo together with Gabbi and Khalil, along with Alex Medina and Angeli Nicole Sanoy.
Also in the photo were executive producer Shao Masula and director King Mark Baco.

CARMI’S TV PROJECTS
Carmi’s last TV series with the Kapuso network was the sitcom Ismol Family, which aired from 2014 to 2016.
When Ismol Family ended its run, Carmi joined the afternoon series The Better Half of ABS-CBN.
After The Better Half, Carmi did more Kapamilya shows: Wansapanataym presents “Amazing Ving” (2017), Since I Found You (2018), FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano (2018-2019), and Home Sweetie Home (2019).
In September 2020, Carmi was supposed to do the digital series The House Arrest Of Us, top-billed by Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
However, she had to beg off from the series after testing positive for COVID-19.
Carmi’s last project under ABS-CBN was the digital sitcom Hoy, Love You!, which aired on iWant TFC.
Carmi's last teleserye with GMA-7 before transferring to ABS-CBN in 2017 was the 2015 prime-time series MariMar.
Her other shows in GMA were: Ikaw Na Sana (1997-1998), Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin (2001), Kahit Kailan (2002), I Luv NY (2006), Ako Si Kim Sam Soon (2008), Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang (2009), Beauty Queen (2010), My Lover My Wife (2011), Broken Vow (2012), Luna Blanca (2012), Unforgettable (2013), and Prinsesa ng Buhay Ko (2013).
As a Kapamilya, Carmi became part of the long-running sitcom in ABS-CBN, the Abangan Ang Susunod na Kabanata, which ran from 1991 to 1997.
