Mainit na pinag-uusapan ngayon sa social media ang pagsasara ng isang restaurant sa Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig.
Ang dahilan: nagkaroon umano ng paglabag sa community quarantine protocols nang idaos doon ang birthday party ng host-influencer na si Raymond Gutierrez.
Ipinagdiwang ni Raymond, kambal ng aktor na si Richard Gutierrez, ang kanyang 37th birthday noong January 21, 2021.
Sa Twitter, ibinahagi ng netizens ang ilang larawan ni Raymond na may hawak na birthday cake na may kandila.
Napapalibutan siya ng mga bisita at kinukunan ng picture.
Makikitang dikit-dikit ang mga kumukuha ng larawan at walang social distancing.
Ginanap umano ang kasiyahan sa La Picara Restaurant sa Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Ang RTC-PCR (reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction) ay ang ikinukonsiderang “gold standard” para sa pagtukoy kung positive o negative sa COVID-19 ang isang pasyente.
Tila in-upload ang larawan ni Raymond sa Instagram Story. Hindi naka-indicate kung sino ang nag-upload ng larawan at kung kailan nangyari ang selebrasyon.
Pero mabilis itong na-screenshot ng netizens at kumalat sa social media, partikular sa Twitter.
May iba pang lumabas na larawan kung saan makikita si Raymond na may photo-op sa iba pang attendees ng party.

Sa kasalukuyan ay nasa ilalim pa rin ng general community quarantine ang Metro Manila na magtatagal hanggang nitong katapusan ng Enero.
Sa ilalim ng GCQ, pinapayagan ng Department of Trade and Industry ang pagbubukas ng establishments, kabilang ang 24/7 operation ng restaurants.
Gayunpaman, mahigpit pa ring pinapaalalahanan sa mga may-ari ng establisimyento ang pag-o-observe ng safety protocols, gaya ng social distancing at pagbabawal ng mass gathering.
NETIZENS CRITICIZE RAYMOND gutierrez
Bunsod ng mga kumalat na larawan, nagsunud-sunod ang batikos ng netizens kay Raymond.
Tinawag nilang "iresponsable" ang host-influencer sa pagkakaroon ng party at hindi umano pagtupad sa safety protocols.
Hindi rin daw katwiran na sumailalim ang guests sa RT-PCR tests dahil lumabag pa rin ang mga ito sa quarantine rules, gaya ng social distancing at pagtitipon-tipon sa public place.
Kumalat din sa social media ang larawan ng restaurant na may closure notice noong January 22, 2021.
Ang notice ay may logo ng City of Taguig.
Sinisi ng ilang netizens si Raymond dahil nawalan daw ng trabaho ang ilang tao dahil sa pagsasara ng restaurant.
Komento ng isa, “So Raymond Gutierrez, how does it feel to party when everyone else is trying their best not to spread the virus?
“Also how will you pay all the workers who probably doesn’t have jobs anymore just bec you all have partied?”
Hirit naman ng isa pa, "On the scale of 1 to Raymond Gutierrez, how many workers did you put at risk of facing unemployment?"
Bakas naman ang pagkadismaya ng isa pang netizen na tila wala nang pandemya sa ginawang party umano ni Raymond.
Anito: “Idc [I don’t care] if you had swab tests done prior to the party, you weren’t social distancing, the venue was packed with people, and the attendees acted like the pandemic is over.
“Criiiiiiinge. People of privilege nga naman.”

Samantala, naglabas ng official statement ang tanggapan nina Taguig Mayor Lino Cayetano at Taguig Representative Lani Cayetano, maybahay ni former Speaker of the House Alan Peter Cayetano, kaugnay ng insidente.
Sa official statement ni Mayor Lino na naka-post sa Facebook page ng I Love Taguig noong January 22, Biyernes, tiniyak ng alkalde na patuloy ang kanilang kampanya para maging ligtas ang siyudad nila pagdating sa negosyo.
Ayon sa statement, hindi nila kukunsintihin ang pagiging iresponsable ng mga establisimyento lalo't may banta pa rin ng COVID-19.
“We will not allow a few irresponsible establishments to compromise our efforts in making Taguig a model community for living in the new normal.
“We will strive to implement health and safety protocols so that businesses in Taguig can thrive.”
Hindi tinukoy sa statement kung anong establishment ang isinara.
Patuloy raw ang pakikipagtulungan nila sa business sector ng kanilang siyudad para mapanatili ang kaayusan sa kanilang siyudad sa gitna ng pandemya.
Kinatigan naman ni Congresswoman Lani ang desisyon ng city mayor “to close down an establishment for violating IATF rules.”
Sabi pa ng kongresista, “A ‘negative’ test result is NOT a ticket to socialize without precautions and disregard minimum health protocols.
“A test result detects the virus at one point in time. It only means that COVID-19 IS UNDETECTED AT THE TIME AND PLACE YOU WERE SWABBED.
“You may be infected hours or days after taking the test – in effect becoming carriers of the virus without you even knowing.”
Posible rin daw na infected na ng virus ang isang tao pero nasa incubation period pa ito.
“Which according to the World Health Organization, is from 5-6 days on the average but can be as long as 14 days.
“In that case, even the gold standard RT-PCR test will yield a negative result despite already being infected, and you can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.”
Sa sumunod na pahayag ay may patutsada si Congresswoman Lani sa “influencers.”
“To influencers, the present situation calls for you to set the right example and do the right thing for everyone’s safety.
“People look up to you and admire you. This responsibility should not be taken lightly. Now is the time to use your platform, do good, and perform your civic duty to society.
