The winners of the 11th GAWAD TANGLAW Awards (given by an academe based group) are as follows: Requieme won Best Film and Director; Jury prize for film Migrante and Manenaya; Best Actress Nora Aunor for Thy Womb; Best Actor Jericho Rosales for Alagwa & Dingdong Dantes for One More Try. The Best Supporting Actress plum went to Shamaine Buencamino for Requieme & Ria Garcia for Melodrama Negra. The Best Supporting Actor award was given to Allen Dizon for Migrante & Zanjoe Marudo for One More Try. Jun Lana won Best Screenplay for Bwakaw.
