Richard Gomez won the Best Actor award in the 35th Oporto International Film Festival in Portugal. The Filipino film Children‘s Show also won the Special Jury Award in the Orient Express Section of the said film fest known as the Fantasporto. Richard won for his role as a policeman in the action drama film The Janitor, which was directed by Mike Tuviera. Children‘s Show, starring Miggs Cuaderno and Buboy Villar, was directed by Derick Cabrido.
