Florentino Aguila, the father of Jennylyn Mercado's handler and friend, Katrina Aguila, died today in his sleep at 12:52 pm. He was 95. Katrina, on her Facebook post today, remembers her father as, "an honorable man, a colonel, pilot, scholar, and most importantly, a father. He was born in 1921, and lived a full life." She continues, "I don't know what else to say and do, but just to ask for your prayers. It's hard to say goodbye. But knowing my dad, he'll tell me to toughen up and be a big girl. Bye papa. I'll miss you."
