Ignacio de Loyola won the Audience Choice Award at the Festival Internacional de Cine con Valores held from November 11 to 27, 2016. Lead actor Andreas Munoz flew all the way from London just to attend the gala night in Guadalajara, Mexico. Directed by Paolo Dy, Ignacio de Loyola was the first Filipino film to open the Mexican festival with a full house last November 10. The Filipino-produced biopic depicted the life of St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus.
