Aug 1, 2017

Jake Zyrus will be holding his first concert since coming out as a transgender man and dropping his previous identity as Charice.

On October 6, 2017, the singer formerly known as Charice Pempengco will mount his first concert at the Music Museum using his new screen name.

His forthcoming concert aptly titled I Am Jake Zyrus will showcase songs he's been longing to perform on stage. Jake will share with his audience stories and songs that would best describe his journey to "freedom" and those that will represent the dreams he has for himself.

The former Glee star will also be singing his latest single, "Hiling," under Star Music.

Serving as musical director is Troy Laureta who happens to be his close friend. Troy is a Filipino-American musical director, keyboardist and record producer who’s worked with international artists such as David Foster, Ariana Grande, Deborah Cox, Iggy Azalea, to name a few. The concert will also feature surprise guests from the Philippine music industry.

Tickets for I Am Jake Zyrus are priced at P4000 (with meet & greet and autographed poster), P3200, P2500, P1800 and P1000. Tickets are available at the Music Museum (721-6276), Ticketworld (891-9999) and SM Tickets (470-2222).
