English alternative band Nothing But Thieves to perform in Manila in January 2018

Nov 2, 2017

Nothing But Thieves will hold its Manila concert at the Kia Theatre on January 21, 2018.

The English alternative band is behind hit songs such as “If I Get High,” “Lover," and "Please Stay,” among others.

Nothing But Thieves earned the respect from pillars of the modern rock community--among them Muse, which picked them as support band in its 2016 arena tour.

Nothing But Thieves is composed of lead vocalist and guitarist Conor Mason, guitarist Joe Langridge-Brown, guitarist and keyboardist Dominic Craik, bassist Philip Blake, and drummer James Price. The alternative rock band’s music celebrates eclecticism.

The band members want to continue growing as they have since they made their debut two years ago.

“We're a guitar band with a really modern take on music,” says Conor. “We're trying to be on the forefront. We play guitars, but we're not a rock band in the traditional way, because we're trying to modernise and push the boundaries of what you're supposed to sound like as a band.”

The band is expected to perform its hit songs "Amsterdam," “Sorry,” “Particles,” and “Wake Up Call” during its Philippine concert produced by Ovation Productions.

Tickets are priced at P5750, P3750, and P1750. They will be available starting November 3, 2017 through www.ticketnet.com.ph and regular Ticketnet outlets.
