Bakal Boys was named Best Film at the 2010 Asian Connection Film Festival in France. Previously known as the Lyon Asian Film Festival, this event was held in Lyon, France from November 3 to 10. Directed by Ralston Jover, the docu-drama Bakal Boys depicts the lives of real-life young metal divers from Baseco, Tondo.
