The entry Lola Igna has been pulled out from the 2012 Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival. This script about an elderly Igorot woman was supposed to be the entry of writer-director Eduardo Roy Jr. to the New Breed section of Cinemalaya. According to producer Ferdy Lapuz, they pulled out Lola Igna because they want to have more time to revise the script to meet the needs of an international distributor. According to Cinemalaya Monitoring Head Robbie Tan, they are considering another entry that might be given the chance to replace Lola Igna.
