Ipinagtapat ni Tony Labrusca na hindi siya kumportable na ma-label bilang isang sexy actor.
Ganunpaman, inamin naman niyang overwhelmed siya dahil sa atensiyon at mga project na nakuha niya kahit tatlong taon pa lang siya sa showbiz.
Isa si Tony sa mga bida ng Ang Henerasyong Sumuko Sa Love ng Regal Entertainment, Inc.
Nagkaroon si Tony ng sexy-actor image dahil sa mga topless picture sa kanyang social media accounts.
At tulad sa ibang mga television show na pinagbidahan niya, pinaghubad din siya sa youth-oriented movie ng Regal na mapapanood sa mga sinehan sa October 2, 2019.
“For me, that’s not something that I was ever really comfortable with and I know it might sound contradictory because I do post topless pictures sometimes, but I think, for me, I consider myself as a creator.
“I like to create how I want people to view me so when I post a picture that seems 'sensitive,' that’s because I feel really good about myself in, let's say a superficial way, when I see a picture or video of myself and that I captured a moment I really want to share with my audience.
“Now, when I hear the audience labeling me as a sexy actor, it can’t be helped because I took Glorious, that one is really a sexy movie.
“It can’t be helped because I took that job.
"I guess it’s because it’s so new to me. I never expected that I would be labeled as a sexy actor so fast,” paliwanag ni Tony na tatlong taon pa lamang ang showbiz career pero marami nang naging achievement.
Dagdag niya, “Lahat ng mga ka-batch ko were doing something completely different from me.
"I don’t wanna namedrop, but sa mga Boyband, wala naman sa kanila na na-label na sexy actor.
“It was a little interesting for me because usually when you get called like a sexy dramatic actor, medyo may edad ka na rin, marami ka nang experience.
"So, for me, it’s not that I don’t like it. It’s more of I’m a little overwhelmed.
"At the same time, when you get labeled, ang taas na ng expectations sa ‘yo.”
