Marami nang lumabas na balita tungkol sa pagpapakasal nina Vhong Navarro at Tanya Winona Bautista sa Kyoto, Japan, noong November 28, 2019, pero nanggaling ang karamihan sa mga report mula sa social media posts ng mga invited guest.
Walang nag-aksaya ng panahon na hingin nang personal ang pahayag ng mga saksi sa pag-iisang dibdib ng mag-asawa.
Ang Regal Entertainment Inc. producer na si Roselle Monteverde ang isa sa mga prinicipal sponsor sa kasal nina Vhong at Tanya.
Mapalad ang PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) dahil nagpaunlak si Roselle na ibahagi ang kanyang mga nasaksihan, karanasan, at thoughts tungkol sa naganap na kasalan sa Kyoto.
Ito ang eyewitness account ni Roselle: “I am more than happy and fortunate to have attended the wedding of Vhong and Tanya.
“I was informed last July 1 and I was actually overjoyed and excited to be one of ninangs to the couple.
“I said yes right away that I will be attending without checking what my schedule would be during that time. True enough, even with the challenge of juggling my schedule, if there is a will, there is a way.
“I made sure even from a film shoot in Saga, I returned back to Manila for a few days and booked my flight and accommodation to be at the wedding because they are very special couple to me.
“I want to see through and be a witness to this love, especially of Tanya’s immeasurable devotion.
"I made sure to be with them at their moment of happiness and to be witness to this matrimony since what they went through when both had tremendous test of relationship some years ago and seeing them surpass that trial and making this lifetime commitment to each other is a very heartfelt and great achievement for any couple.
“I have witnessed that there is a reality of true love and how else will this be signified but with the sacrament of Matrimony. To profess undying love and lasting commitment to each other!
"Vhong and Tanya were both very emotional when they recited their vows to each other. And I felt that because they said it with full contention that they will soon embark a lifetime partnership through thick or thin, in richer or in poorer, till death will they part.
“But with what they both went through, theirs is an eternal love. Now it is a blessed unity and no point of turning back to whatever may befall them in the future and for sure their past will lead them to a very inseparable partnership.
“The night had an air of lightness, love-filled, and positive aura. The occasion was simple but more importantly, very intimate. Even during their speech, the sincerity of love for each other filled the moment with warmth and inspiration.
“Vhong, from his heart, thanked everyone that came and the sincerity of his appreciation to all the guests that imparted the occasion, and he especially mentioned that the choices for sponsors and guests were very well thought of by him and Tanya.
“He said that the guests and sponsors were the ones that stood by them during their most desperate times. I was a witness to their sadness and hardship a few years back and this made me emotional and I can’t help but shed tears of happiness when it was mentioned and told myself that I made the right effort of attending this wedding.
“What makes the wedding very special is the intimacy from everyone. All the guest celebrities, family members, and friends were happy to be there and had only one purpose of attending which is to share the special occasion without any egos nor pretentions nor sense of entitlement. It was a humbling experience for everyone.”
Postscript: Pabalik na ngayon, November 30, sa Pilipinas si Roselle at isinulat niya ang kanyang mga sagot sa mga tanong ng Cabinet Files habang nakasakay siya sa train mula sa Kyoto hanggang sa Kansai International Airport.
Noong Miyerkules, November 27, nakausap ng Cabinet Files ang direktor na si Chito Roño. Si Chito ang manager ni Vhong at ninong din siya sa kasal ng kanyang alaga.
Nang makausap namin si Chito, sinabi nito na nauna nang pumunta si Roselle sa Kyoto at hindi pa siya sigurado kung makakadalo sa kasal nina Vhong at Tanya dahil may ocular inspection pa siya para sa location ng bagong pelikula na gagawin niya sa Regal Entertainment Inc.
