“I tried Paco [Arrespacochaga of Introvoys], we actually plan to fly him in from the States. Gusto ko sana kasama si Paco but then, birthday ng inaanak…actually, si Paco medyo magulo, inaanak ko yata lahat ng mga anak niya. Parang ganoon…

“Birthday ng bunso niya, yung unica hija, so hindi siya pinayagan na umuwi to do the show. He really wants, originally, to be part of the line up,” ang kuwento ni Wency tungkol sa naudlot na participation ni Paco sa ‘90s Frontmen concert.

“The three people na hindi namin makuha-kuha although I invited all of them, si Bamboo, si Ely, at saka si Rico,” ang patuloy na kuwento ni Wency.

“Imposible. Ayaw nila, ganoon ka-straightforward, ayaw nila.

“It is disappointing kasi siyempre, kasamahan din naman namin sila sa industriya before and it’s been four or five years already na try, not just in a capacity na kakanta sila for the show, but for other things.

“Kasi naging tradition na the ‘90s shows that I produced, merong host. Video or live, merong host.

“Jett did hosting for Dubai, within the ‘90s series. Sa Cebu, it was Pepe Smith. In Solaire, the first one was Triggerman.

“But may certain capacity pa naman to help us out pero ayaw pa rin nila, so okey lang. I mean, there are other avenues for us to explore when it comes to doing the show,” ani Wency.

“I think it’s neither good or bad. Siguro ang dahilan nila, I guess, they didn’t want to be dated or you know, framed into thinking na they’re just a nostalgia act. Perhaps... we don’t know.

“They’re thinking artists, ganoon din naman kami. But speaking for myself, I just like to have fun without having to think na, 'Ah baka this could date me or put me down as a nostalgia performer,'” ang sabi ni Jett na itinuturing ang ‘90s bilang great time for music.
