The Juans lead singer Carl Guevarra (center): "It’s really a tough time for artists now, especially sa income side, but no matter how challenging times are, we’re making good use of time by creating music, and using our gift of music to still be productive and somehow touch people’s lives."

“In this time of crisis, we’re really desiring to connect to people and to put into music what they can’t sometimes put into words.

Sabi ni Carl, "We had roughly about three days to work on the songwriting, recording, mixing, and mastering.

"It was all rush pero talagang binraso namin dahil alam namin na marami ang may kailangan ngayon ng hope and just in time when Malacañang announced to the nation a week for prayer, we thought it was perfect timing to release it.”

ENHANCED COMMUNITY QUARANTINE

“I guess, for a person like me na sanay na laging nasa labas and performing for big crowds, when you have several days of being alone in your room, although I’m with my family in Bulacan, but most of the time nasa kuwarto lang ako, with the news and the helplessness you feel, yun po siguro ang nag-trigger.

"But that pushed me further to write a song of hope, ‘cuz if ako na relatively comfortable, inaatake ng anxiety, paano pa yung ibang nahihirapan nang todo?” saad niya.

"All our shows from mid-March until April were all cancelled.

"It’s really a tough time for artists now, especially sa income side, but no matter how challenging times are, we’re making good use of time by creating music, and using our gift of music to still be productive and somehow touch people’s lives.

"We pray that this pandemic ends soon.

"We pray that we will all be united in fighting and winning this battle.

"We pray for those who have nothing to eat, for those who are inflicted by sickness, for those risking their lives in the frontline, and for industries affected by this.

"May it all end soon."
