Huling emere sa telebisyon at radyo ang ABS-CBN simula Martes ng gabi, May 5, 2020.
Alinsunod ito sa utos ng National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), na ikinabigla ng mga Pilipino.
Hindi binigyan ng palugit ang ABS-CBN network matapos mag-expire ang license to broadcast ng kumpanya noong May 4.
Galing man sa karibal na istasyon, dalangin ng GMA-7 news broascasters na malampasan ng counterparts nila sa Dos ang pagsubok na kinahaharap ng mga ito.
RAFFY TIMA & Joseph morong
"A bloody sunset" ang caption ni Raffy Tima sa mga larawan ng ABS-CBN compound at tower na nakunan niya ng litrato.
Nagkomento rito ang kasamahan niya sa GMA News na si Joseph Morong.
Sabi ni Joseph, "History will be your guide in this darkness."
MARIZ UMALI
Ang misis ni Raffy na si Mariz Umali, na isa ring GMA reporter, ay nag-tweet naman ng "Praying with u and your entire ABS-CBN Family."

Ang batikang broadcast journalist na si Howie Severino ay naglabas ng matalinhagang quote tungkol sa malayang pamamahayag, mula sa English novelist at journalist na si George Orwell.

Ganunpaman, palaban ang binitiwang salita ni Drilon tungkol sa umano'y panggigipit sa Kapamilya network.
