Mag-uumpisa bukas, May 16, ang Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine sa Metro Manila, Laguna, at Cebu City.
Mas marami ang restrictions sa modified ECQ kung ikukumpara sa modified General Community Quarantine.
Ang modified GCQ ay ipatutupad sa mga lugar na mababa ang kaso ng COVID-19 simula bukas.
Pero pinag-iingat pa rin ang lahat ng mga Pilipino.
Ito ay para hindi magaya sa South Korea, na pinupuri noon dahil sa epektibo at maagap na aksyon ng pamahalaan nito laban sa coronavirus pandemic.
Pero ngayon ay bigo ang South Korea sa layuning makontrol ang COVID-19.
May panibago kasing bugso ng nadagdag na kaso, noong unang linggo ng Mayo, sa Itaewon district ng Seoul.
Kung hindi magiging maingat ang mga Pilipino, hindi malabo ang posibilidad na magkaroon ng second wave rin ng COVID-19 sa Pilipinas.
THE "SUPER SPREADER" IN SOUTH KOREA
Ang Filipina-Korean na si Diana Ji Hye-Won ang nakapanayam ng Cabinet Files, at nagbigay siya ng impormasyon tungkol sa bagong cluster ng COVID-19 sa South Korea.
Isang 29-anyos na lalaki ang nasisisi sa pagkalat muli ng COVID-19 doon.
Ayon kay Diana, tatlong club sa isang gabi ang pinuntahan ng lalaki, na tinawag niyang "super spreader" ng COVID-19.
Kabilang daw sa pinuntahan ng "super spreader" ang King Club, isang sikat na gay club sa Itaewon.
Hindi umano alam ng lalaki na positibo ito sa COVID-19, at natuklasan lamang niya na carrier siya nang lumitaw ang mga sintomas makalipas ang tatlong araw.
Nang magpunta ang lalaki sa ospital, saka nakumpirmang COVID-19 positive siya.
Ibinahagi ni Diana na may safety protocol sa mga establisyamento sa South Korea.
"The clubs in Itaewon followed two main procedures to ensure no infections would be caused.
"One, to test for fever using forehead thermometer.
"And two, to require all incoming customers into the club to fill out a guestbook entailing their name and contact details."
Pero hindi raw sapat ito dahil marami sa customers ay nagsisinungaling tungkol sa kanilang health condition.
Dugtong ni Diana, "The Korean government is having a hard time tracking the people that were in these clubs using the aforementioned guestbook/records because a lot of these customers put false informations on the books.
"Now, the government has resulted into tracking these individuals through GPS and credit card records–which has raised privacy issue concerns."
PERSONS UNDER MONITORING?
Isa pa raw ikinababahala ng mga tao ay ang impormasyong posibleng kumalat na umano sa mga kabataan ang virus.
Dahil daw ito sa isang hiwalay na grupo ng club customers na suspected na may COVID-19.
"Subsequently, it was found that a group of foreign teachers from a Korean academy were all attendees of one of the clubs that evening.
"They are now suspected to have infected some of the children in the academy upon their return to work the following week.
"In total, we now have 133 newly infected people in Korea and 73 alone in Seoul, while prior to this incident, Korea had already managed to bring down the number of infected patients down to one digit."
Pamilyar ang pangalan ni Diana dahil siya ang representative ng Korean companies na KP Trading at C-So Funding, na nagbigay kay Senator Manny Pacquiao ng donasyon ng 700,000 face masks noong March 17, 2020.
Ipinamahagi ni Pacquiao ang mga face mask sa frontline workers ng Philippine National Police, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Metro Manila Development Authority, Department of Health, at Research Institute for Tropical Medicine.
