LOOTING IN PORTLAND

Mensahe niya, "I am so distraught of the damage of this city.

"I don’t believe that the people are doing the damage are making a point of the death of George Floyd—they are taking advantage by stealing, looting, and creating a damage—seriously wrong move for the intention of a protest."

Paliwanag niya, "You must know the distinction from protesters who are correct and right to be angry vs people who want to cause destruction.

"These are not the same. People looting and causing damage is NOT showing the point of George Floyd and his death which was horrific and wrong.

"My stance is the same.

"I will stand arm and arm with my brothers and sisters in protest, but damaging property and looting (even small businesses like Brent and Lynn) who work hard to keep afloat during a pandemic is the wrong message.

"Some of my friends are misinterpreting the message."

“I am outraged — I have been falsely arrested by the police. I filed a lawsuit and won.

“I am a person of color, born to parents who migrated from the Philippines —however, I am not African American and I do not share the pain and suffering of most of the people of this country suffer.

"I know the people that have caused destruction do not and will not read my post, but as Commissioner Jo An Harvesty said yesterday (May 30) 'Last Night (May 29) was not a representation of Black America, it was an opportunity for people to steal and create property damage.'"

NOOD KA MUNA!

THE 1997 INCIDENT

"It was pretty intense. It was a tough time," sabi ni Dale sa interbyu sa kanya ng Cabinet Files ngayong Lunes ng umaga, June 1.

"There was just a shooting with another officer, and it was super tense.

"All they heard was 'ASIAN MALE' and I was arrested.

"Now the victim was there and said, ‘No! It's not him.’

"However, I was put in a cop car and then I was in jail for more than 19-hours in my boxers,."

“After that, I was really traumatized on how the police was,” pagpapatuloy na kuwento ni Dale.

"However, after time, I trusted the Portland Police than I do other agencies.

"When I came back from the Philippines the second time in 2007, I bought a bar and I was really close to most of the officers in my area.

"They helped me, and I knew that they are not like other officers who have a POWER trip when having a uniform," sabi ng 45-year-old former actor.
