Lahad ni Martin: "In this new normal, we’re trying to do things that are creative. The reason why my twin sister and I went on is because I was going crazy not being able to sing, not being able to perform, to even do my talk show.

"I couldn’t do it anymore so we decided to go on Facebook Live and Kumu and all these other platforms to keep my singing going and to entertain the lonely, the scared, the unsure, the unhappy.

"That was my whole purpose of the whole thing not knowing that I would be healing myself in the process."

Aniya, "All the singers now are learning to become production people, directors and sound engineers.

"For that’s my biggest lesson learned throughout this whole new normal."

Ani Martin: "The other things that I’m doing, that are interesting or not interesting, is for the very first time, I went out and saw the ocean. I’ve not seen the ocean in a long long time.

"And I went to the States to get my son Santino to bring him here because there’s no school there and he’s been with me for almost two months now.

"So I’ve been more of a father, I’ve been rearranging furniture, I’m learning how to do this whole mixer with microphone and lights."

BACK TO RECORDING MUSIC

Kabilang dito ang Martin....Take One, The Best Gift, Martin, Miracle, at Dream.

"When they asked me to go back to Vicor, it was really more for nostalgic reasons. We started together, I didn’t know who was I gonna be, what I was gonna sound like.

"I didn’t know what my contribution to OPM would be, and it was Vicor who took me in even though wala pa akong boses, wala pa akong pangalan.

"They really took a big big risk."

"And for them to ask me back after all these years, I am hoping we can relive those old days, the good times.

"Spending just one more hour to record a song... Because we, still chatting about each others lives, hindi na uso ‘yan, e.

"Ngayon, copy, paste ang style mag-record, so I’m hoping we could bring that back."

Bukod sa gagawing record album, isa rin sa mainstay si Martin ng ABS-CBN Sunday variety show na ASAP Natin 'To.
