Nahulaan ni Masked Singer Pilipinas Judge Detective Kim Molina na si Carl Guevarra, ang nasa likod ng maskara ni Valentino, isa sa mga celebrity contestant ng musical mystery competition ng TV5.
Tatlong beses na sumalang si Carl sa Masked Singer Pilipinas at sa unang performance pa lang niya, siguradung-sigurado si Kim na ang lead vocalist ng pop rock band na The Juans ang nagtatago sa costume at maskara ni Valentino.
Kahit nagpaalam ngayong gabi sa Masked Singer Pilipinas, nagpasalamat si Carl dahil itinuturing nito na isang malaking oportunidad na naging bahagi siya ng programa, lalupa’t magagaling at mahuhusay ang mga kalaban niya.
“I know that it’s kinda difficult for the other judges to guess who I am because I really honestly think that I am not as famous as the other artists, and that’s the reason why I picked 'A Million Dreams' tonight because I wanna represent the nobodies.
“That someday if they pursue their dreams, they can get somewhere.
“And I wanna thank Masked Singer because I honestly don’t think that I’m near anywhere famous as all the amazing singers backstage but they’re giving me a chance.
“Tama si Sir Aga [Muhlach, isa sa mga judge detective], I should always consider the audience, and this is my message for the audience.
"If you feel like a nobody now, I promise you, if you work hard, if you would give your best, you’ll get somewhere one day,” ang nagpakumbaba na mensahe ni Carl para sa mga tulad niya na nangangarap na makilala sa music industry, sa kabila ng popularidad na tinatamasa ng The Juans.
Incidentally, naglabas ang The Juans ng sariling Classic Christmas Song series na tinawag nila na Paskong May Hugot at mapapanood ang music video nito sa kanilang Facebook at YouTube page.
