"Man of the hour" ang tukso kay Marco Gallo dahil ilang araw nang laman ng entertainment news ang kanyang pangalan.
Ito ay buhat nang lumabas ang teaser ng pinag-uusapanng paliligo niya sa isang eksena ng Ang Manananggal na Nahahati ang Puso, ang love story-comedy movie na pinagbibidahan nila ni Aubrey Caraan.
Binansagan din si Marco bilang "New Male Sex Symbol" dahil sa kanyang mapangahas na eksena.
Pero hindi raw sanay ang 20-year-old Filipino-Italian actor.
Saad niya, “I’m not used to it. I feel, like, it’s something that would be connected to Marco Gumabao.
"But, I think I’m not at my best yet. I think I have to work on my body pa, way a lot.
"But, yeah, sure, I find myself sexy."
Malakas ang impact sa publiko ng bath scene ni Marco sa pelikula, na meron nang 17 million views across all social media platforms, at hindi raw niya inaasahan ang nakagugulat na reaksiyon ng mga nabulabog na tao.
“Hindi ko po ine-expect na it would be that big of a deal kasi it’s just an eksena.
"Pero the fact na it reached 17 million views, it’s just crazy and I’m happy that 17 million [people] saw my butt!” natatawang pahayag ni Marco.

Ayon sa direktor ng Ang Manananggal na Nahahati ang Puso na si Darryl Yap, patikim pa lamang ang teaser na inilabas niya.
Matindi rin daw ang eksenang itim na underwear lamang ang suot ni Marco nang “ipinamukha” nito kay Aubrey ang kanyang harapan kaya nagulat at napasigaw ang dalaga.
“I’m sorry I have to do this. It’s on the script,” sabi ni Marco, na kinumpirma na napasigaw si Aubrey sa eksenang tinutukoy niya.
INDECENT PROPOSALS
Buhat nang magkaroon ng scene drop sa social media ang mga ginawa ni Marco sa pelikula nila ni Aubrey, nakatanggap na siya ng mga indecent proposal mula sa mga humahanga sa kanya.
Kuwento ni Marco, “I read them and I’m, like, maybe if one day I’d be really that desperate, I’ll think about it. Hahaha!
“Just recently, I got an email from someone, 'Hey, can you come to lunch with me? Let’s have lunch.’
“Okay, P35,000, and then I look at my friends and I’m, like, 'Guys, do you wanna have some lunch?'"
Patuloy niya, “But no, I just have really a rule for my own soul, for myself, and I just believe that there’s no shortcuts in life.
"You really have to go through hard work to earn money.
"Because, yeah, you can cut money through indecent proposals. No one will know about that.
"But, what does that say about yourself?
"Are you okay going to sleep knowing that you took a short cut? When you’re spending that money, are you gonna be actually happy?
“I wanna work for my stuff."
Sabi pa ni Marco, "My friends think that just because I’m an actor in the Philippines, I am rich.
"I’m gonna be honest, I am not rich, but I’m not poor. I am decent.
"And maybe one day, through this job, I will become richer or in a better position than where I am right now.
“I just want to work for my stuff so that one day, if ever I’m gonna be able to buy a house, I can say that I did that.
“Ako ang naging dahilan kung bakit ako nagkaroon nang ganyan, kasi I put my time and ethics into it.”
