"Bong Joon-Ho loved the ensemble performance of the actors in the film.

Lahad niya: "Dante Rivero is one of our last Marlboro guys. He drives himself to and from work with no assistants.
"He comes to the set prepared. Very nuanced. Cool as Clint Eastwood.
"He speaks the lines like he came up with it. He owns it. He owns his character. Any costume you make him wear, he carries it like his own.
"He can be devious but he can also be charming as hell. The Tito you want to get drunk with just listening to his stories all night long."
