(1 a.m., December 11, Manila time).
Tiwala si Voltaire na magniningning si Beatrice.
Pahayag niya, “Bea has been really doing well and I say that because she’s been very calm, very chill, and that’s really her strength.
“It’s been hectic for all all the girls. This year’s edition, they’ve been so strict particularly with the local organizers in Israel, like the national directors, unlike in other years where they’re allowed to visit the hotel.
“This year, they were told not to go there, not linger. Very few people are there but we do talk to her every day. We are always in touch with her.
“The amazing thing is she’s always busy which means that she is doing shoots or some things with the sponsors.
“She’s so excited for the preliminaries tonight. We all know that she’s gonna shine in the swimsuit and evening gown, and also the national costume."
Sabi pa ni Volataire, "And alam ko mapupuyat kayong lahat because I think it’s gonna be late over there, kasi it’s gonna be at 7 p.m. over here and, hopefully, it starts on time.
"I heard that the stage is amazing. It’s at the port of Eilat.
"Bea, she’s a fighter, so we’re not really worried in that sense."

MARIAN RIVERA
“No, we haven’t seen here. I think also because the candidates haven’t seen her either kasi she’s in quarantine.
“That’s why I think during the preliminary interviews, the candidates didn’t see the judges because most of them are still in quarantine.
"So that’s why the preliminary interviews for all the candidates were pre-recorded or recorded with only Paula Shugart [Miss Universe Organization president] and some other Miss Universe staff and, possibly, some of the preliminary selection committee.
“Hopefully tonight we’ll see them [the judges] at the preliminaries,” sagot ni Voltaire nang tanungin tungkol kay Marian.
“Filipinos are passionate about beauty pageants and love to show support for their contestants, no matter where they are in the world.
