Nagulat si Nanette Medved-Po nang bumisita siya sa GMA Network para sa kanyang guesting sa birthday celebration episode ng host na si Boy Abunda sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.
Hindi inaasahan ng dating aktres na may mataas na gusali na ang Kapuso Network, isang pagpapaalalang 23 taon na ang nakalilipas mula nang talikuran niya ang entertainment industry.
Pinasinayaan ang GMA Network building noong 2000, at ito rin ang taon na nagpasya si Nanette na iwanan ang show business para mamuhay bilang pribadong mamamayan.

“I’m a little bit nervous but I’m good,” ang sabi ni Nanette sa panayam sa kanya ni Boy na ipinalabas ngayong Huwebes ng hapon, Oktubre 26, 2023.
Ito ang kauna-unahang pagkakataong lumabas si Nanette sa isang showbiz-oriented talk show makaraan ang 23 taon.
Mabilis na tinanggap ni Nanette ang imbitasyong magpainterbyu kay Boy sa programa nito dahil hindi niya nalilimutan ang suporta sa kanya ng TV host at talent manager noong aktibo pa siya sa showbiz.
“You have always supported me and I will never forget that,” sabi ni Nanette kay Boy.
FAKE NEWS DURING HER TIME
Hindi rin nakalilimutan ng dating aktres ang magaganda at masasayang karanasan sa industriya na dating kinabibilangan niya.
“I have incredible relationship in show business and, unfortunately, my world is so different now that I don’t get to interact with these wonderful friends.
"So, I think I miss that most," sambit niya.

Ipinaalaala ni Nanette na noon pa man ay uso na ang fake news na ayaw na ayaw niya.
“Oh my goodness, yung mga fake news. Naku, meron na tayo noon even before social media. The fake news was really... all the intriga and everything.
“Oh my gosh, I don’t think I could ever have survived if it was today.
"Like, I have such respect for celebrities, people who remained in the spotlight today because, oh my gosh, I don’t know how to manage the social media.
"I am so scared.”
Nang kumustahin ni Boy ang kanyang buhay ngayon bilang philanthrophist at pribadong mamamayan, "It’s so busy" sagot ni Nanette.
Dagdag niya, “It’s very different, equally fulfilling, very busy, just like when you’re in show business.
"I do much more travelling in my life now than I did when I was in show business.
“But I think we’re all doing important things, whether you’re in show business or you’re not. You'r all kind of working on an important mission so it’s not much different.”
Ano ang leksiyon sa show business na nagagamit niya ngayon?
Ayon kay Nanette, “I think we noticed in show business, a lot of times, no matter what happens, the show must go on. You have to make things work.
"So I took that with me in my private life in business or outside of show business, where you have to sometimes [say] bahala na.
“You just have to make things work, the show must go on, and deliver on the mission.
"So I definitely learned that in showbusiness. Don’t panic, we’ll figure out a way.
“You have to be comfortable with uncertainty and you have to be able to push the boundaries of what’s comfortable for you, so I definitely do that today.”

ON MAKING A SHOWBIZ COMEBACK
Ano ang dahilan na puwedeng makapagkumbinsi sa kanyang bumalik sa showbiz at gumawa ng isang pelikula na puwedeng may kinalaman sa mga adbokasiya niya?
“I have no idea,” sagot ni Nanette.
“I’ve never thought about it and I can’t imagine what it would be.
"Ewan ko ba, I don’t know kung ano ang puwedeng gawin. I don’t think about it."
Sabi pa niya, "Sus, ang daming magagaling diyan ngayon and I don’t think anyone will miss me if I don’t come back.”
Ano naman ang mga aral sa buhay na maaaring ibahagi niya sa publiko?
Ayon kay Nanette, “Be kind and be useful.
“I think I would just say be kind and be useful. And if you can do those two things, I think you’ll gonna do fine in life.
“I just feel like kindness is something that’s missing a lot in the world today. If you can be kind in all of your interactions, that’s already a big challenge.
"But being useful is also something. I mean, the world needs so much help today.
"So, sometimes, you meet people, tapos sasabihin nila, ‘Naku, it’s just me. Ako lang. Kahit kumilos ako, wala naman makakaramdam.’
“That’s not true. Just like what you were saying, just do one thing. If enough people just do one thing and are kind and are useful, we can really change the trajectory of our world.”
