Ang evangelist at former Manila City councilor na si Grepor "Butch" Belgica ang isa sa mga pumuri kay Janno Gibbs at sa movie directorial debut nito, ang Itutumba Ka ng Tatay Ko, na nagbukas sa mga sinehan noong Enero 24, 2024.

Kinabukasan, Enero 23, sinabi ni Belgica sa kanyang Facebook post, “It’s a great film. Janno Gibbs did a fantastic job. It’s extremely entertaining!I predict: A blockbuster!’
"Thank you Tito Butch Belgica" na may heart emoji naman ang sagot ni Janno sa congratulatory post ni Belgica.
Muling naglabas ng papuri si Belgica tungkol sa Itutumba Ka ng Tatay Ko kahapon, January 25.
Pinasalamatan ni Belgica si Viva Films big boss Vic del Rosario Jr. dahil ito ang nag-imbita sa kanya sa premiere night ng Itutumba Ka ng Tatay Ko.
“You have a precious diamond in Janno Gibbs,” umpisa ng mensahe ni Belgica para sa Viva Films honcho.
“This, his first directed film — is of international caliber. He is a multi-faceted talent: Director. Actor. Story-teller. Singer...and many more.
“The film is, if I may describe: Comically? very funny; dramatically? heart-rending; and aesthetically? smooth! Hindi trying hard.
“Since there were two other VIP seats you provided for me, I invited a foster sister of mine and her husband from California who both never watched 'corny Tagalog movies' for decades.
“Now retired from working in the US State Department for many years, she had a mouthful of praise for the movie and summed it with this jolting commendation: 'Janno Gibbs (as comedy-actor) is comparable to Adam Sandler and more'.
“Her husband, a US politician, scientist and UC Berkeley professor, said that this Janno Gibbs film of VIVA is world-class, tech-and-edit wise.
“He, well, guffaw a dozen times during the showing, three more than I did!

Nagpasalamat naman ang ina ni Janno kay Belgica dahil sa mga papuri nito sa unang pelikula ni Janno bilang direktor.

Ang National Artist na si Gerry de Leon at ang pre-war actress na si Fely Vallejo ang mga magulang ni Baby at ng namayapang aktres na si Liberty Ilagan.
Hindi maipagkakailang minana ni Janno ang husay ng Lolo Gerry nito bilang direktor ng pelikula at nakuha niya ang talento sa pagkanta mula sa kanyang Lola Fely na isang magaling na mang-aawit.

Samantala, hindi lamang evangelist at dating konsehal ng Maynila si Belgica dahil nagkaroon din ito ng koneksyon sa show business, halos tatlong dekada na ang nakalilipas.
Isinapelikula ng Viva Films noong 1995 ang makulay at kontrobersiyal na buhay ni Belgica, ang The Grepor Butch Belgica Story.
Si Joko Diaz ang nagbigay-buhay sa katauhan ni Belgica noong kabataan nito. Ang pumanaw namang aktor na si Ronaldo Valdez ang gumanap bilang Porfirio Belgica, ang ama ni Belgica.
Si Ronaldo ang yumaong asawa ni Baby Gibbs.

Naranasan ni Belgica na makulong nang mahigit labing-isang taon sa New Bilibid Prisons sa Muntinlupa dahil sa mga kasong kinasangkutan niya.
Pero nagbagong-buhay at nagbalik-loob siya sa Diyos habang nakabilanggo hanggang makalaya kaya itinuturing na isang inspirasyon at kapupulutan ng mga aral ang kuwento ng kanyang buhay.
