Nakararating at nakikita ni Julia Barretto, 26, ang lahat ng mga komento tungkol sa dalawampu’t walong taong agwat ng mga edad nila ni Aga Muhlach, 54, at sa kanilang pagtatambal sa pelikulang Ikaw Pa Rin ang Pipiliin Ko.
Pero nauunawaan daw niya ang sentimyento ng mga tao.

Kung may isang pakiusap si Julia, ito ay ang mabigyan ng pagkakataon ang pelikula nila ni Aga.
Ginawa niya ang panawagan nang personal siyang makausap ng entertainment press.
Saad niya, “I super understand the feedback, the concerns, and I see it all that’s why my last post about the film was just… the most or the least that I could request is that they give it a chance.
“Nobody has invalidating the concern, but at the same time, we wouldn’t have been on board if we knew that the film was going to send a wrong message to people.
“The production would not have happened in the first place. It’s a material or a love story that was borne out of genuine love. It’s a unique love story.”
Itinuturing ni Julia na isang malaking hamon sa mabuting paraan ang proyekto nila ni Aga.
“Challenging in a way that the kind of challenge we always welcome, that’s what I meant.
"But working on it was fun. It was light. Everybody was easy to work with.
“I guess what I mean by challenges, hindi madali yung materyal na nabigay po sa amin, because we were trying to tell a very unique and odd love story and wishing that people would welcome it, would be open to it.
"Just as when it happens in real life, people can be understanding about it especially when we are talking of two adults.
“But I guess it was a challenging material given that it was that I was doing with Kuya Aga. Everything was parang magnified talaga, but it was a good ride, a good journey.”
Posible bang magmahal siya ng lalakeng mahigit sa dalawampung taon ang edad tulad ng karakter niya sa Ikaw Pa Rin ang Pipiliin Ko?
Sagot ni Julia, “I don’t know. I can’t answer the question because we never know who we become when the opportunity or the situation is in front of us.
"We only know that when we’re there but that’s love.
“We don’t plan it, the same with the love stories that I’ve been in real life. Those were not planned, it happens.
"But I can’t give you a definite answer now because it’s not the situation presented to me.
"Love is love and we celebrate love in all forms and in all different ways."
