Ipinag-utos ang pag-aresto sa pastor na si Apollo Quiboloy dahil sa hindi nito pagsipot sa mga pagdinig ng Senado tungkol sa mga reklamo laban sa kanya, ang Violation of Human Trafficking, Rape, Sexual Abuse, Violence at Child Abuse.
Ngayong Martes ng hapon, Marso 19, 2024, inilabas ng Senado ang utos na dakpin ang pastor na nagtatag ng Kingdom of Jesus Christ at nagpahayag na siya ang "Anointed Son of God “ at “Owner of the Universe.”
Nilagdaan ito ni Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri.
Nakasaad sa dokumento: “For unduly refusing to appear, despite due notices, at the hearings of the Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality on January 23, February 19, and March 5, 2024 and for merely sending his counsel to appear for him without justifiable reason, and therefore delaying, impeding and obstructing the inquiry into the Reported Violation of Human Trafficking, Rape, Sexual Abuse and Violence, and Child Abuse; therefore, upon motion of the Committee, during the March 5, 2024 hearing, hereby cites Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy in contempt of the Committee, and of the Senate, and ordered arrested and detained at the Office of the Sergeant-At-Arms until such time that he will appear and testify in the Committee, or otherwise purges himself of that contempt.”

Hindi pa naglalabas ng pahayag ang legal counsel ni Quiboloy na si Atty. Ferdinand Topacio tungkol sa desisyon ng Senado.
Tinutugis din ng Department of Justice ng Amerika si Quiboloy mula pa noong Nobyembre 2021 dahil sa reklamong sex trafficking ng mga dating miyembro ng Kingdom of Jesus Christ.

Hindi pa rin nagbibigay ng reaksiyon tungkol sa desisyon ng Senado na ipaaresto si Quiboloy ang mga senador na tinutulan ang contempt order laban kay Quiboloy —sina Senators Robinhood Padilla, Cynthia Villar, Bong Go, Bato dela Rosa, at Imee Marcos.
Noong Pebrero 5, 2022, naglabas ng wanted poster ni Quiboloy ang U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation dahil sa kasong kinasasangkutan niya.
Si Senator Risa Hontiveros ang Chair ng Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality.
Nang lumabas ang utos ng Senado na dakpin si Quiboloy ngayong Martes, agad niyang pinasalamatan si Zubiri at ang lahat ng mga lumantad na testigo laban sa kontrobersiyal na pastor.
Pahayag ni Hontiveros, “Napapanahon po ang aksiyong ito para sa bawat babae ngayong buwan ng kababaihan at nagpapasalamat ako, daghang salamat, kay Senate President Migz Zubiri sa kanyang pagpirma sa arrest order kasi walang karapatan si Quiboloy na yurakan ang dignidad ng senado.
“ Ang pambabastos niya sa institusyong ito ay hindi dapat palampasin.Higit na pasasalamat sa lahat ng mga testigo na naglakas-loob na makilahok sa dambuhalang labang ito. Kayo ang puso ng imbestigasyong ito at kasama ninyo kami sa senado hanggang dulo pa.”
