Hyacinth Callado on mental health issues: “It’s like a kind of self-diagnosis thing. I haven’t gone to a professional yet because for personal reasons, I haven’t been able to. But let’s say I self-diagnosed myself with something and it has helped me a lot to just figure out what do I resonate with and what works for me."

“Hindi pa ako sanay with all the effort that they give for us.

"They would visit us on set or sometimes they would make sure we get our coffee ‘coz we need it, we work so hard, and our schedules are always so crazy.

“And I am still not so used to getting this much attention, help, and appreciation. It’s still so crazy to me and I thank them,” sabi ni Hyacinth, na lumaki at nag-aral sa Amerika kaya hindi pa matatas ang pagsasalita niya ng Tagalog.

HYACINTH'S MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES

Pahayag niya: “I will be straight up, I struggled a lot.

"I had a different way of learning than most people, and I struggled with that because I didn’t have the right tools at the time, to know what help me to learn quickly.

“But because I know now, that’s why I’ve been able to do so much. And I surprise myself all the time, like, before, I would be the kind of person to think I don’t know how to express myself. I don’t know how to memorize lines. It was so bad.

"But now that I’ve learned what works for me, it helped so much.

Saad niya: “It’s like a kind of self-diagnosis thing. I haven’t gone to a professional yet because for personal reasons, I haven’t been able to.

“But let’s say I self-diagnosed myself with something and it has helped me a lot to just figure out what do I resonate with and what works for me.

"I tried them out and they just somehow worked, and now I am a better version of myself."
