YEN DURANO IS FEELING THE PRESSURE
“Very supportive naman yung environment ko — from the director, to the production team, glam team, hanggang utility. I am grateful for that.
“The challenges in the film are, like, the language since period movie siya. Medyo deep yung Tagalog.
"And there are lines that are very long pero I am good with memorizing naman. It’s just hard, hindi madaling sabihin, that’s one struggle.
“But my co-actors, they’re very helpful, especially si Sir Sid Lucero. He really helped me in my scenes with him.”

MOST DIFFICULT SCENE
Kuwento niya: “I have a scene there where I was dancing in front of the Japanese people, in exchange for something.
“That was very difficult for me, the character mismo. Hindi po siya madali talaga.
"People think kasi na porke Vivamax, ‘Ah, okay, sige maghuhubad. Madali lang yan.’ But it’s not.
"When I take my clothes off, it has to mean something. So for me to do that, I agree with the reason behind the story so hindi talaga siya madali.”

Saad ni Yen: “Sa first naming project, naninibago ako siyempre kasi, suddenly, it’s different. But in a good way, like, bilang it’s so serious.
“I am not saying that the previous movies that I did were not serious, pero kay Direk Mac ko naramdaman that I can be better. That I can really do this so he really saw potential in me and he’s very patient with me.
“And another thing that I respect about Direk Mac is that he’s very honest and he’s not afraid to tell you the truth.
"And I respect people like that because in a world full of lies, someone’s gonna tell you the truth and not in a bad way.
“He pushes you in a way that will move you and because of that, malaki ang respect ko kay Direk Mac.
“For him to be proud of this movie says a lot and him saying yes to me, portraying Celestina, it really means a lot to me,”
