Pinarangalan bilang Person of the Year ng Rotary Club of Aseana ang Regal Enertainment, Inc. producer na si Roselle Monteverde dahil sa kanyang mga kontribusyon at achievement bilang movie producer.

Ipinagkaloob kay Roselle ang natatanging parangal sa pagdiriwang ng ika-pitong anibersaryo ng Rotary Club of Aseana na ginanap sa Ayala Alabang Country Club, Muntinlupa City, nitong Miyerkules ng gabi, Disyembre 4, 2024.

Sa kanyang acceptance speech, nagbigay-pugay si Roselle sa mga yumao niyang magulang na sina Father Leonardo “Remy” Monteverde at Mother Lily Monteverde dahil sila ang naging inspirasyon niya.

Magkasunod na pumanaw sina Father Remy at Mother Lily noong Hulyo 29, 2024 at Agosto 3, 2024, respectively.

Sa tuwing nababanggit ang mga pamana ng kanyang ama at ina sa industriya ng pelikulang Pilipino at sa pagkatao niya, hindi mapigilan ni Roselle ang mapaluha.

Ang walang katumbas na pagmamahal ng mga magulang niya sa Philippine entertainment industry ang dahilan kaya raw ipinagpapatuloy ni Roselle ang legacy nina Mother Lily at Father Remy.

ROSELLE MONTEVERDE'S SPEECH

Ito ang pahayag at pagbibigay-pugay ni Roselle sa kanyang mga magulang nang tanggapin niya ang Person of the Year Award mula sa Rotary Club of Aseana Manila:

“It is a profound honor to stand here tonight and accept this recognition as your Person of the Year.

"To be acknowledged by an organization that represents such vision and excellence is deeply humbling, and I am truly grateful for this moment.

“I would like to dedicate this award to my parents, Leonardo and Lily Monteverde.

"For over 60 years, they have been not only leaders in the entertainment industry but also mentors and visionaries who have uplifted countless others along the way.

“They have shown that true leadership is not simply innate — it is learned, earned, and shared through care, mentorship, and dedication.

“Their unwavering commitment to growing our industry and helping others realize their potential is the legacy that inspires me every day.
