Mula nang punahin ng publiko ang nag-ibang hugis ng ilong ni Sanya sa GMA Gala noong Agosto 2, 2025, tumanggap ang aktres ng mga batikos.
Kadalasan, kamukha na siya ni Ynez ang mga paghuhusga sa kanya — na parang isang mortal na kasalanan na maging magkamukha sila.

Nangyari ang pagtatanggol ni Ynez kay Sanya noong Setyembre 5, pero binalewala at hindi ito pinansin ng kanilang mga kritiko.
Mapapansin sa mensahe ni Ynez na tatlong araw bago isiniwalat ng mga Discaya noong Setyembre 8 ang mga personalidad na binigyan nila umano ng komisyon mula sa mga proyekto ng pamahalaan, nagsalita na siya tungkol sa korapsyon.
Parang nagdilang-anghel si Ynez nang sabihin nitong: “Instead of focusing so much on bashing celebrities, why not pay more attention to real issues like the criminals and the corrupt who actually harm society???”

Ito ang kabuuan ng Facebook post ni Ynez para sa mga naninira, pumupuna, at nagkukumpara sa mga hitsura nila ni Sanya:
“I honestly don’t understand why some people choose to throw hate at others who simply made personal choices for themselves???
"Just to be clear, I’ve worked with Sanya Lopez on the show TADHANA and she’s really kind and respectful!
“We don't deserve the kind of bashing we’re receiving just because we chose to enhance something about ourselves.
“Enhancements are done everywhere and we’re not the only ones doing it.
“So many people make changes to feel better or more confident.
“You might say, 'we are a public figure, just accept the bashing it's part of the job.' But no, it’s not that simple.
“We’re still human. We have feelings too. Just try to put yourself in our shoes??
"If people constantly tried to tear you down, would you really be okay with it?
“We’re not hurting anyone or stepping on anyone. We’re not perfect well no one is but we respect people’s choices. At the end of the day, it’s their life, not yours.
