Saad ni Ogie: “I have to thank Rob Deniel.
"Ang nangyari kasi, for many, many years, yung Spotify listeners ko, ano lang yan, 450-500 thousand.
“That’s my core audience na mga ka-age natin na hindi naman masyadong mahilig mag-Spotify. Sabi ko, 'Paano ko ba palalakihin itong listenership ko?'
“So what I did was I started writing new songs, like 'Hanggang Dito Na Lang Ba Tayo' and 'In Love,' and started redoing my old songs, which nag-traction siya.”

THE REBIRTH OF "NANDITO AKO"
They gave me an award, it was, like, a tribute award.
"And before they give the award, may kakanta ng song. It’s just so happened, ang kumanta si Rob Deniel.
"I was watching, ang galing ng pagkanta niya, and then I received my award, gave my speech.
“A few months after, nag-viral yung performance niya ng 'Nandito Ako' at 'Ikaw Sana,' so people started recognizing the song.
"And wala naman recording si Rob [ng 'Nandito Ako'] so they went to my Spotify and they searched.
“And I started noticing, wow, biglang sumisipa na from 500,000 to 600,000. Now it’s 3.3 million, by God’s grace.
“It just came at a time when I was trying to help my listenership grow, but I had a lot of help from the younger people and the core audience of the likes of Rob Deniel.”
