“Singing is my first love pero wala pa akong recording contract, but I am hoping that I can sing whether it’s recording or onstage or in film.

Kuwento niya: “I got a phone call lang and they asked me to come on as part of the cast.
"It wasn’t hard naman to convince me ‘coz I really wanted to start and try especially experience what it was like sa film.
They said never let showbiz change who you are.”

GLORIA DIAZ ATTENDS ISLA BABUYAN PREMIERE
"She said, ‘You’re okay.’ Sabi niya, I was good, 'but never look down.’
“Well, I wouldn’t change it. Maybe look up a little more.
"Pero sa akin, in that moment, when we were filming it, we filmed it in one take. It felt right na it was that decision.
“Sabi ko lang, 'Thank you for your input.' I am very grateful for her support at sa advice niya kasi veteran siya.”

SAMANTHA'S EDGE TO OTHER NEWBIES
Sagot niya: “My difference is I am not afraid to say how I feel and what I think.
"I hope I can be someone in the industry that’s known for not just having a face but having a mind.
"And my variety as a person, I think, is what makes me strong.
"My ability to bounce back and to learn is, I think, one of the greatest gifts I have.
“Sa advertising at sa creatives, we have what is called 'the unfair advantage.' Parang yan ang selling point, yan yung what catches the attention.
"Pero, of course, sa campaigns, you can’t just have an unfair advantage. You need to really deliver.
"So I think while I have this advantage is up to me din to capitalize it.
“I hope it doesn’t limit me. I will never say na hindi ako nepo baby, kasi nepo baby ako. Totoo naman, e.
“While the family name can open doors, it’s up to me to walk through po.”
