Two stories about earthquakes...
STORY 1: MATTEO AND SARAH DONATE GOODS FOR EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS IN CEBU
Pinupuri ng netizens ang mag-asawang Sarah Geronimo at Matteo Guidicelli sa kanilang mabilis na pagkilos para tulungan ang mga kababayan natin sa Cebu na napinsala ng malakas na lindol noong Setyembre 30, 2025.
Sa panayam kay Matteo noong Lunes, Oktubre 13, 2025, ibinahagi nito ang pagtulong na ginawa nila ni Sarah sa mga residente ng Bogo, ang hometown ng ina ni Matteo.

Lahad ni Matteo: “Bogo is my mom’s hometown. That’s where we grew up so the places we went to are where places I used to go as a child.
"So, we were able to raise PHP1.5 million in one day, and we were able to distribute PHP1.5 million of goods, in coordination with the Philippine Army.
“This week was a fantastic week for my company, G Production Studios, because it was our anniversary, two years celebrating the studio and three years celebrating the production company.
"So instead of having a big party, we're gonna partner with advocacy partners, which was Animal Kingdom Foundation, Kythe Foundation [kids with cancer], World Vision, etc.
“So it’s a week of supporting advocacies and trying to help out our country in our small way.”
STORY 2: WANDA TULFO-TEO POST ABOUT EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS IN MANAY, DAVAO ORIENTAL
Naninirahan sa Davao Oriental ang mga kamag-anak ng pamilya Tulfo.
Ito ay ayon mismo kay dating Tourism Secretary Wanda Teo, kapatid ng mga senador na sina Raffy at Erwin Tulfo.
Malaking pinsala at perhuwisyo ang iniwan ng magnitude 7.4 earthquake na nanalanta noong Biyernes, Oktubre 10, 2025, sa mga mamamayan ng bayan ng Manay.
Pero hindi papuri ang tinanggap ni Wanda mula sa kanilang mga kababayan sa Manay dahil sa tila nanunumbat niyang Facebook post noong Linggo, Oktubre 12.
Nakasaad sa post ni Wanda (published as is): "To the people of Manay in response to your call for our help!
"Ang mga Tulfo siblings ay laging tumutulong sa inyo maski walang sakuna. Medical assistance from our own pocket.
"Nabigyan kayo ng malaking SLP, AICs, Tupad sa tulong ni Sen Erwin kaya na prioritize kayo ng Dswd and DOLE ang assistance sa Davao Oriental.
“Nag-donate kami ng ilang hectares na lupa kung saan na nakatayo ngayon ang hospital ninyo! Hindi pa ba ito sapat na tulong?
"My mom is from Manay and my Dad is from Ilocos. But we always prioritize Davao Oriental.
"We never grew up in Manay it’s our relatives who stayed there.
"Erwin is in Geneva for a conference. We have been communicating on the situation in Manay. He has plans on what help he will be giving.
"I have been in contact with Gov Nelson. CAN WE NOT WAIT!!!"

Burado na ang kontrobersiyal post na ito ni Wanda dala ng mga negatibong komento.
Pero kahit burado na, marami ang nakapag-screenshot nito. Kaya kumalat pa rin ang sinasabing insensitive na pahayag tungkol sa madalas daw na pagtulong ng kanilang pamilya sa ating mga kapus-palad na kababayan.
