“Surviving Japan with one leg.

“Actually, right before we left for Japan, so talagang nag-worry kami na, ‘O, paano siya?’
“Like, how is she gonna go around in Japan? Pero we’re able to find a way naman. We bought an electric wheelchair, ang saya nga, eh.
“Ako ang nagpu-push 'tapos yung wheelchair, electric, motorized. So, kaya niyang i-control.”

“In terms of time management, you have to find the windows in your days to put in the extra effort to learn other things.
“Halimbawa, kahapon galing ako sa shooting 'tapos wala akong time masyado to rehearse with everyone kasi nasa Japan din ako. So, I had to find windows inside my shooting time na kailangan ko iaral yung dance, yung blocking. Just really taking it day by day talaga,” lahad ni Andres.
“Para sa akin, definitely there is pressure to live up and to produce the best performance I can, like what the original Bagets did in 1984.
“But above all, I see it more as an honor talaga to get the chance to play Adie, because when I was a boy, watching Bagets for the first time with my dad, with my family, never namin na-imagine na magiging Adie din ako.
“Parang it’s a full circle moment for me and it’s really an honor.
"I am really just as proud to get the chance to say that I am playing my father’s role in the past.
“If I may add, when we watched the movie recently again, parang we realized that the original film in 1984 is almost like a musical.
"Because throughout the film, there’s a lot of dialogue, but throughout the film, it’s mainly music talaga that is being played and if you see the sequences, parang it’s blocked like a musical, but a film.
"Kaya ang galing talaga na we get to do this live on stage and it’s also a musical.”
