Nakasaad dito: “The DOTr-MRT-3 sincerely apologizes to our passengers for the congestion and inconvenience they experienced yesterday morning, January 5, around 7:25 a.m.

“We acknowledge the concerns raised from the video circulating online and recognize that passengers were allowed to access the platform despite existing congestion, resulting in overcrowding when the incoming train arrived. We fully understand the discomfort and safety concerns this has caused and take responsibility for the situation.

“Our personnel are intensifying monitoring and coordination on the ground to improve crowd management and ensure a safer, more orderly commute, especially during peak hours.

“Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez has already instructed MRT-3 General Manager Michael Capati to implement all necessary measures to prevent this incident from happening again.

NOOD KA MUNA!

“We thank the public for their patience and understanding as we work to improve our services.”
