Ibinahagi ng aktor at Pagsanjan, Laguna mayor na si ER Ejercito sa official Facebook page nito ngayong Biyernes ng gabi, Enero 9, 2026, ang video ng diumano’y puwersahang pagbubukas at pagpasok sa kanyang opisina ng mga tauhan ni Januario “Jan” Garcia.
Si Garcia ang vice-mayor ng Pagsanjan na nanunungkulan sa kasalukuyan bilang alkalde ng kanilang bayan.

Mapapanood sa video ang pagpasok ng mga tauhan ni Garcia sa opisina ni Ejercito na halos wala nang laman maliban sa isang refrigerator, mga silya, at mesa.

FORCED OPENING OF THE MAYOR'S OFFICE FOR IMMEDIATE OFFICIAL USE
Ibinahagi rin ni Ejercito ang kopya umano ng memorandum na may subject na "Force Opening of the Mayor’s Office for Immediate Official Use" na may petsang Enero 6, 2026. Pirmado ito ni Paguio.
Nakasaad sa memorandum: “In the interest of public service and to ensure the immediate and uninterrupted performance of official duties, notice is hereby given that the Mayor’s Office shall be force opened today, January 6, 2026 for the immediate and lawful use of the office by Mayor Januario Ferry G.Garcia in the discharge of his official functions.
“The force opening is undertaken primarily to place the Mayor’s Office into immediate operational use. In connection therewith, the removal, transfer, and safekeeping of private-owned furniture belonging to Hon. Emilio Ramon P. Ejercito III, presently located within the Mayor’s Office premises, shall be effected in order to clear the office for its intended official use.
“The force opening and incidental removal and transfer of the private-owned furniture shall be conducted in the presence of duly authorized personnel and shall be properly recorded and documented to ensure transparency, accountability,and the protection of the rights and interests of all concerned parties.
“All offices and personnel concerned are hereby directed to extend full cooperation and provide the necessary assistance in the implementation of this directive. “Issued for information guidance, and strict compliance.”

EJERCITO REPLACED BY GARCIA AS PAGSANJAN MAYOR
Noong Disyembre 2, 2025, iniulat ng PEP ang balitang si Garcia ang ipinalit kay Ejercito bilang alkalde ng bayan ng Pagsanjan.
Ito ay dahil may arrest warrant ang actor-politician para sa kasong paglabag sa Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act nang ipagkaloob niya ang isang kontrata sa First Rapid Care Ventures na hindi lisensyadong insurance company noong 2008.
Ayon sa resolusyon, hindi raw dumaan sa public bidding ang pagbibigay ni Ejercito ng kontrata sa nabanggit na kompanya noong manungkulan siya bilang mayor ng Pagsanjan mula Hunyo 2001 hanggang Hunyo 2010.
Noong Marso 2025, hinatulan si Ejercito na “guilty at indeterminate penalty of imprisonment of six years and one month as minimum to eight years as maximum with perpetual disqualification from holding public office”
Pinagtibay ni Associate Justice Ricardo Rosario ang resolusyon.
Pinatawan din si Ejercito ng parusang "perpetual disqualification from holding public office."

Pero nanalo siya nang muling kumandidato bilang alkalde ng Pagsanjan sa halalan noong Mayo 12, 2025.
Tumagal lamang ng limang buwan ang pag-upo ni Ejercito bilang mayor ng kanilang bayan dahil lumabas ang arrest warrant para sa kanya noong Nobyembre 7, 2025.
Ang Sandiganbayan ang nag-utos sa Department of Interior and Local Government, Philippine National Police, at National Bureau of Investigation na arestuhin si Ejercito anumang oras.
Nang lumabas ang ulat ng PEP na pinalitan na siya ni Garcia sa puwesto, “Fake news!” ang reaksiyon ni Ejercito.
Sabi pa niya, “I am on sick leave. Acting mayor lang si VM Jan Garcia.”
Pinatotohanan ito ng kanyang anak, si Pagsanjan Councilor John Paul "Jet" Ejercito.
Ayon kay Jet, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic bronchitis, chronic sinusitis, at atopic dermatitis ang ilan umano sa mga karamdaman ng kanyang ama na matagal nang hindi nagpapakita sa publiko at walang nakakaalam sa kinaroroonan.
