Bumubuti na ang kalagayan ng veteran actress na si Odette Khan, 79.
Ito ay ayon sa kanyang anak na si Claudette Tandoc na nakausap ng Cabinet Files ngayong Linggo ng gabi, Marso 8, 2026.
Nakaratay si Odette sa National Kidney and Transplant Institute ( NKTI), Quezon City, mula pa noong Pebrero 21, 2026, dahil sa kanyang mga karamdaman.

“The doctor said this week daw,” sagot ni Claudette nang itanong ng Cabinet Files ang araw ng paglabas ng kanyang ina mula sa NKTI.
“Hindi lang masabi kung kailan ang specific [day] kasi they need to do MRI again.
"She has been complaining of pain sa left side ribs, under her breast, and final laboratory tests.
“Ang diagnosis sa kanya, pneumonia, edema, at emphysema and weak heart, also fluid in the lungs.
“But praise God, clear na ang left lung niya at almost clear na din ang right lung niya. Decreasing na ang fluid, thank you Lord.
“By God’s grace, my mom has shown significant improvement since her confinement last February 21 at National Kidney Transplant Institute.
"She is no longer using a BiPAP machine and is back on oxygen support. She has a good appetite, though she remains on a soft diet.
“The doctors continue to monitor the improvement in her lungs, and we are thankful that she is doing well with her physical therapy rehabilitation.”
