Bukod sa pagkakaugnay sa presidential son na si Sandro Marcos, napabalita ring nagkakamabutihan sina Franki Russell at Enrique Gil dahil nakita silang magkasama sa isang isla sa Bohol noong Setyembre 2025.
Sa panayam ng Cabinet Files kay Franki sa media conference ng Viva Movie Box series na Fake Socialite noong Martes, Abril 14, 2026, sinabi niyang napagtanto nila ni Enrique na mas mabuting maging magkaibigan na lamang sila.
“That was a group trip actually. There was a group of us, like I had my friend there and his friends there,” umpisang kuwento ni Franki tungkol sa pinag-usapan noong pagsasama nila ni Enrique sa Bohol.
“It was a funny time where we were getting to know each other, I guess. But I think we realized we’re better off as friends.
"I‘m happy for him. He’s doing projects."
Wala raw karelasyon si Franki sa kasalukuyan.
Katwiran niya: “It’s hard to date in Manila and in the showbiz industry.
“We’re in an era of situationship and I think it’s hard. I feel like cheating is normalized somewhat.
"Even when I watch Filipino movies, the other woman or whatever, it’s kind of a common thing. I think it’s sad.
"I am not looking for anyone at the moment.”

FRANKI SUPPORTS GAZINI GANADOS' MISS GRAND INTERNATIONAL ALL STARS BID
Sa edad na 31, puwedeng-puwedeng sumali muli si Franki sa mga international beauty pageant, tulad sa inaugural edition ng Miss Grand International All Stars 2026 sa Mayo 2026.
Pero mas gusto raw niyang suportahan ang kaibigan na si Gazini Ganados, isa sa mga opisyal na kandidata ng Pilipinas sa naturang beauty pageant.
“I am excited to see Gazini Ganados in Miss Grand International All Stars.
“This is Gazini’s year. Gazini is a good friend of mine so I am rooting for her for sure,” sabi ni Franki.
Dalawang beses hindi natuloy ang pagsali ni Franki sa Miss Universe, pero napili siyang maging kinatawan ng New Zealand sa inaugural edition ng Miss Cosmo noong 2024.
Saad niya: “During the pandemic, I was living in Dubai, I have residency there, so I had Miss Universe United Arab Emirates.
"But that didn’t push through so that was out of my control.
“But it directed me to another path. I was appointed Miss Universe New Zealand, got dethroned, that’s a whole drama.
"But I feel like there’s a silver lining when I represented New Zealand for Miss Cosmo.
“Ahtisa [Manalo] was my roommate. I mean, that was awesome to see her journey.
"Now, she’s our Miss Universe Philippines. Amazing!”
